Planning an SEN-friendly birthday party, school reward, HAF programme or inclusive community event?

Our fully hosted SEN-friendly gaming bus brings the experience directly to your home, school, club or event venue across Essex and London.

Our understanding is shaped by genuine lived experience throughout the business. Laura, one of our directors, is the parent of a child with SEND. David, our staff manager, has five children with SEND. Our driving team also includes an autistic colleague and other parents of children with SEND.

Inside, players can enjoy PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, VR, twin racing simulators and popular games including Minecraft, Roblox, Mario Kart, Fortnite and EA Sports FC.

Our gaming buses are climate-controlled, with air conditioning during warmer weather and heating for colder bookings.

One of our gaming buses was specially built with a widened interior so a wheelchair can enter and be positioned within the gaming area. Ramps are available on request, subject to advance suitability checks and availability of the correct vehicle.

Depending on the selected vehicle, planned setup and individual requirements, up to 18 children can take part. Smaller groups, quieter sessions, additional settling time and breaks can also be discussed.

Weekday gaming parties start from £270.

You choose the location. We bring the gaming. Our team hosts the experience.

Gaming Bus Chelmsford

SEN-Friendly Gaming Parties Delivered Across Essex & London

Our gaming bus and gaming van service covers everything from busy town centres and schools to residential streets, parks, community centres and larger event venues.

That means no two bookings are exactly the same.

One weekend we could be bringing an SEN-friendly gaming bus or gaming van party to a family home. Another booking could be a specialist-school reward day, HAF programme, disability-charity event, short-break session or larger organised community event.

Our mobile setup works particularly well because the gaming arrives ready to go.

There is no hall to fill with consoles, no screens to set up and no need for parents, teachers or organisers to spend the event managing the gaming.

Before the booking, we can discuss what the players enjoy, anything likely to cause distress or overwhelm, and the practical adjustments that may help.

Players can take breaks and rejoin when they feel ready, while schools and larger organisations can rotate smaller groups through the bus.

What Players Get on Our SEN-Friendly Gaming Bus

This is not one console stuck in the corner of a room.

Our gaming buses are packed with different ways to play, giving players the freedom to move between consoles, racing simulators, VR and multiplayer games throughout the session.

We can prioritise familiar games, reduce the volume, allow additional settling time and use smaller groups where this would make the experience more comfortable.

Our buses are also fitted with air conditioning and heating, making climate control an important part of the experience throughout the year.

Every SEN-friendly gaming bus booking is fully hosted by our team.

Their Favourite Games

Players can enjoy PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, VR and twin racing simulators.

We can prioritise familiar games and avoid unfamiliar or highly competitive play where that would help players feel more comfortable.

Flexible Sound and Lighting

Music and game sound can be reduced. Where the vehicle setup allows, we can also keep lighting steadier and less intense.

Tell us about any known sensory triggers before the event so we can plan the most suitable available setup.

Climate Controlled

The gaming space is climate-controlled, with air conditioning during warmer weather and heating when it is cold.

A comfortable temperature can make a real difference for players who find heat, cold or stuffy environments difficult.

Breaks, Smaller Groups and Time to Settle

Nobody has to play continuously. Players can take a break and rejoin the session when they feel ready.

Schools and larger organisations can rotate smaller groups through the gaming bus, helping to create a calmer and less crowded environment.

Friendly, Fully Hosted Support

Our team sets everything up, explains the games and hosts the session.

We can slow the pace, reduce competition and provide simple, clear guidance. Parents, carers or staff remain responsible for personal care and any required one-to-one support.

Optional Outdoor Interactive Gaming

Where the location, weather and booking setup allow, selected parties can also include gaming or interactive entertainment on a large 55-inch outdoor screen.

Depending on the booking, this may include Mario Kart, Just Dance, karaoke, PlayStation VR or other entertainment.

Multiple Gaming Buses for Larger SEND Events

Some events need more capacity or smaller group rotations.

Essex Gaming Bus operates multiple climate-controlled gaming buses, allowing us to support larger school days, HAF programmes, charity events, community sessions and family celebrations.

For bigger bookings, we can potentially send multiple gaming buses to the same location. This allows more players to take part while keeping groups smaller and reducing waiting time.

Our wider London Gaming Bus operation also enables us to support events across Essex, North London, East London and surrounding areas.

For mixed-age events, we can also combine our gaming buses with:

Multiple-vehicle and combined bookings remain subject to availability, suitable parking and the requirements of the group.
