A birthday on Canvey can be as simple as stepping outside and picking up a controller. Our Gaming Bus Canvey Island service brings the consoles, screens and host to your home or chosen venue, ready for the friends, matches and birthday celebrations.
Our local work includes Canvey school sessions and a gaming birthday party shared on our Facebook page. We also sponsor Concord Rangers U8 Greens, giving us a connection with local families beyond the parties themselves.
Every gaming bus carries the same full setup: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, VR and two racing simulators. The racers work together, so two players can challenge each other at the same time.
Fixed, permanently installed air conditioning and heating keep the gaming space comfortable throughout the year.
For ages seven and above, we can host up to 16 players inside. When the weather and safe outdoor space allow, up to three more can join outdoor activities, bringing participation to 19 players overall.
Fortnite fans can get up to 15 players into the same game with a strong, stable internet connection. Parties start from £270, with the complete price agreed before booking.
You sort the guest list and cake. Our host takes care of the gaming.

Canvey is already part of our party route. Our public Canvey party photos show a local birthday celebration aboard the Essex Gaming Bus, while our sponsorship of Concord Rangers U8 Greens supports youth football on the island.
We have also delivered gaming sessions for schools on Canvey. For your own party, the entertainment comes to a suitable address: a home, school, club or hired venue. Our host welcomes the group, gets everyone playing and handles the game changes.
We cover Canvey town centre, Winter Gardens, Leigh Beck and suitable addresses across the SS8 area. If you are using a venue, give us its full address as well as the party time.
Before confirming, we check vehicle access, safe and legal parking and nearby power. A drive or roadside space needs around 7.5 metres for the bus, with room to enter and leave safely. Tell us about narrow approaches, restrictions or anything that could affect access.
Some guests head straight for EA Sports FC, others want Mario Kart, Fortnite or the racing seats. They can switch games as the party goes on.
Get a football match going, team up for multiplayer games or try a quick racing challenge on PlayStation 5.
The host helps arrange games to suit the ages and interests of your guests.
Xbox Series X gives the group another choice of console games, alongside the rest of the onboard activities.
If friends have different favourites, they can try more than one during the session.
A Mario Kart race can get a whole group cheering, even when some guests rarely pick up a controller.
Nintendo Switch brings accessible multiplayer games for beginners and regular players to enjoy together.
Two racing seats, two steering wheels and two sets of pedals. Both players race head-to-head at the same time.
Friends can challenge each other directly, then swap opponents for the next race.
For guests who want to try something different, VR adds a change of pace from the console matches.
We check the ages and suitable games before using it with the group.
On a suitable day, the party can spread to an outdoor screen for activities such as Mario Kart, Just Dance, karaoke or VR.
We need safe space and the right weather. Up to three extra players can join outside, taking the group from 16 indoors to 19 overall. Outdoor VR is not used in rain.
A birthday group will usually need one bus. A school celebration, holiday programme or club event on Canvey may work better with several groups playing at once.
Subject to availability, we can bring multiple equally equipped gaming buses to the same venue. Each has the full console setup, VR, two racers and fixed air conditioning and heating.
- Give different classes or age groups their own session.

Our Canvey work has included gaming sessions for local schools as well as birthday parties. Schools, holiday clubs, charities and community organisers can book hosted sessions around their own event timetable.
Our local connection also includes sponsoring Concord Rangers U8 Greens. For a sports-club celebration or presentation day, gaming can give the children another activity to enjoy with their teammates.
We can discuss:
- School reward days and Year 6 leavers’ celebrations.
- HAF and school-holiday activities.
- Youth clubs and community days.
- Sports-club parties and family events.
- Charity events, festivals and staff family days.
A longer booking can be arranged in rotations, with the host running each gaming session while your team manages the wider event. Tell us the attendance, ages and timetable so we can recommend a practical plan.

Wes was incredible too — he was brilliant with the kids and made sure everyone was having a great time. Everything was well organised and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish.
We would definitely book them again and highly recommend them for a children’s birthday party. Thank you for making my son’s birthday so special!

At a sibling party or family day, the children may want very different things to do. Subject to availability, a Canvey booking can combine gaming with:
- Essex Soft Play Bus for younger children.
- Essex Pamper Bus for pamper activities.
Book different bus services together and receive 10% off each service. This is a separate offer from the two-gaming-bus discount.
Tell us which activities you would like, the ages and the venue. We will confirm availability, parking, power and the combined price.
If a child needs a calmer introduction to the bus, let us know before booking. It helps to understand what makes them comfortable, what they like playing and anything they find difficult.
We can discuss lower music or game volume, a smaller group at one time, clearer game changes, breaks or extra time to settle in. Members of our wider team have lived experience of SEND.
