Before choosing a party, hear from the people who have booked one. Essex Gaming Bus has more than 1,200 five-star reviews across Google, Facebook, Trustpilot and Tripadvisor for its hosted entertainment across Essex and London. Read our reviews.
A good gaming party gives the whole group something to get involved in. On our Rayleigh gaming bus, friends can challenge each other at football, line up for a race or choose a multiplayer favourite, with a host helping the session along.
You choose a suitable home or event address; the equipment arrives together. Our booking records include private family-home parties in Rayleigh lasting 90 minutes and two hours.
For ages seven and above, the bus accommodates up to 16 players indoors. Up to three more children can take part outside when there is safe space and suitable weather, making up to 19 players overall.
The choice of vehicle does not change the core games setup. Each carries PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, VR and two racing simulators, alongside fixed, permanently installed air conditioning and heating.
The twin racers have separate steering wheels and pedals, so two players can compete side by side. Prefer a group Fortnite session? Up to 15 players can join the same game when the internet connection is strong and stable.
Rayleigh gaming parties start at £270. Tell us who is coming and what they enjoy; we will check the diary, price and setup for your address.
Find a Rayleigh Party Slot
Hosting at home keeps the celebration close by, but the parking and power still need to work for a gaming bus. We will discuss those details with you before confirming a Gaming Bus Rayleigh booking.
We serve suitable addresses across Rayleigh. A full SS6 postcode helps us check the location; if your chosen venue is nearby rather than in the town itself, send its postcode too.
Allow around 7.5 metres of safe, legal parking with suitable vehicle access. Our power leads reach up to 50 metres. Residential streets, town-centre locations and school or club grounds each need the proposed parking position checked.
A suitable venue can be an option when the bus cannot safely park at home. Once the location is agreed, the host deals with setting up and running the gaming, helping the players get started and change activities.
Not everyone at a birthday wants to play the same thing for the whole session. The consoles, twin racing seats and VR give your group a choice, with a host to help players find a game and organise changes.
Beginners can join in alongside regular gamers. Every bus has the same core equipment, so you can plan around the setup below.
A football match or a short tournament gives friends a shared challenge. PlayStation 5 also offers racing, action and team games; the host can help choose a format that suits the players.
Let us know if there are Xbox favourites in the group. Xbox Series X adds another set of choices, and players can switch between console games and other activities as the session develops.
Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros can bring a mixed group into the same game quickly. Nintendo Switch offers social multiplayer choices for children who play regularly and those still learning the controls.
Pick your opponent and take a racing seat each. There are two complete positions, with separate steering wheels and pedals, allowing a simultaneous head-to-head race rather than sharing one simulator.
A VR turn changes the pace of the party and gives players something different to try. We choose suitable experiences for the ages attending and use the equipment only where conditions are safe. Outdoor VR cannot run in rain.
Safe space beside the bus can extend the activities outdoors. Depending on the weather and setup, choices may include dancing, karaoke, Mario Kart or VR.
Those outdoor places account for up to three extra children. The capacity is 16 inside, or up to 19 overall when outdoor gaming can run.
For a larger Rayleigh event, start with the timetable: how many children need a turn, how long should each group play, and can they be split by age or team?
Several buses may help you run separate groups at the same time, while timed rotations can spread a longer booking across more attendees. We can discuss these options for schools, HAF programmes, clubs and community events.
- Use classes, ages or teams to organise the groups.
- Give each group an agreed gaming slot.
- Plan the handover between sessions.
- Choose games to suit the players using each bus.
All vehicles carry the same core consoles, VR, twin racers and permanently installed air conditioning and heating. A multi-bus arrangement depends on availability and enough safe parking, access and power for every vehicle.
Book two equally priced gaming buses together and our longstanding offer takes 20% off the second bus. That saves 10% of the combined two-bus party price.
Send the venue address, attendance, ages and proposed running order. We will help you work out a practical arrangement before you commit.
Choose the session length first, then the day. Gaming Bus Hire Rayleigh starts at £270, with the following party prices:
Monday–Thursday, excluding bank holidays
- 90 minutes — £270
- Two hours — £320
- Three hours — £390
Friday–Sunday and bank holidays
- 90 minutes — £300
- Two hours — £350
- Three hours — £420
Please note that three-hour Essex parties are unavailable on Saturdays. Available start times and any extras are confirmed with your quote.
To reserve the agreed slot, pay an £80 non-refundable deposit. You may then pay in instalments, as long as the outstanding balance is settled seven days before the event.
Start with your plans. Give us the date, full postcode, preferred time, ages and number of players, plus whether you want 90 minutes, two hours or three hours. A school or organised event should also include its timetable and overall attendance.
Get the details agreed. We check the diary and talk through the full price, parking, access and electricity. You can then complete the booking form and pay the £80 non-refundable deposit to secure the agreed session.
Enjoy the booked session. On the day, the host sets up the gaming, welcomes the players and runs the entertainment. You do not need to organise console matches or manage game changes yourself.
Let the host look after the games while you look after the celebration. There is no gaming equipment for you to assemble, and a separate hall is not required where the home setup is suitable.
A gaming bus can become one activity within a much bigger day. Rayleigh schools, HAF providers, clubs and event organisers can enquire about hosted sessions for their groups.
Think about how gaming will fit around the rest of your programme. A class reward, a leavers’ celebration or a holiday-club session may need a different running order from a sports presentation or a community family day.
- School rewards and Year 6 leavers’ activities.
- HAF and other school-holiday sessions.
- Youth clubs and community programmes.
- Sports presentations and family events.
- Charity, festival and corporate entertainment.
We can discuss timed groups through a longer booking, several buses or different services at one event. The host runs the games and session changes; your organisers remain responsible for the wider programme.

What our Rayleigh customers say
We had Harry come out to our son’s 10th birthday in Rayleigh. Highly recommend the Essex gaming bus, it was fantastic and the kids absolutely loved every minute of it.
Amy Mulchinock — Google review, 1 August 2026 · ★★★★★
Wes was incredible too — he was brilliant with the kids and made sure everyone was having a great time. Everything was well organised and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish.
We would definitely book them again and highly recommend them for a children’s birthday party. Thank you for making my son’s birthday so special!
When you compare gaming parties, ask how the session will actually work for your group. How many players are indoors? What happens if outdoor gaming cannot run? Can two friends race together, and who helps them change games?
These are the details of our setup. Each bus carries the same core equipment, with a host running the entertainment.
Rayleigh is already part of our private-party booking history. We have confirmed past bookings at family homes in the town for 90-minute and two-hour gaming sessions.
A racing challenge works best when both opponents can take part together. Our two seats each have their own wheel and pedals, so two racers compete at the same time on every gaming bus.
Plan your Gaming Van Rayleigh party around one consistent core setup: PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, VR and two head-to-head racing simulators.
Every vehicle has that equipment and the same standard capacity, whichever bus is allocated to your booking.
Party planning does not stop when the seasons change. Permanently installed air conditioning and heating are fitted to every bus for summer sessions and winter birthdays alike.
The indoor limit is 16 players. Where safe space and suitable weather let outdoor activities run, another three children can join, giving 19 overall.
Plan with the indoor limit in mind if outdoor gaming will not be possible.
If your group wants to join one Fortnite game, talk to us about the internet at the address. Up to 15 players can play together with a strong, stable connection; online performance depends on that connection and cannot be guaranteed.
Send us the full postcode and proposed parking position. We serve suitable homes, schools, clubs and event sites in Rayleigh and nearby areas, with coverage, access and availability checked before a booking is agreed.
Our confirmed past bookings include private gaming parties at family homes in Rayleigh. Both 90-minute and two-hour sessions appear in that booking history.
Tell us how many players are attending, their ages and the event timetable. We can discuss a hosted school reward, leavers’ activity, HAF session or community booking, with timed groups or several buses where appropriate.
For players aged seven and above, plan on up to 16 indoors. Another three children can participate outside only when safe space and suitable weather allow. That is up to 19 overall; it is not 19 indoor places.
The standard gaming party is for ages seven and above, including teens and adults. A separate option for six-year-olds provides 90 minutes for up to eight children. Tell us about any five-year-olds before booking so we can agree the correct younger-child package.
Excluding bank holidays, Monday–Thursday prices are £270 for 90 minutes, £320 for two hours and £390 for three hours. Friday–Sunday and bank-holiday prices are £300, £350 and £420 respectively. Three-hour Essex parties are unavailable on Saturdays. We will confirm the available slot and any extras before you book.
Every vehicle has fixed, permanently installed air conditioning and heating. The climate-control equipment is part of the bus setup for year-round gaming parties.
No. Each gaming bus has the same core setup: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, VR and two head-to-head racing simulators. If a particular game matters to your group, mention it when enquiring; ages, updates, licences and internet access can affect game availability.
They can take one racing seat each and compete head-to-head simultaneously. Both complete racing positions have their own steering wheel and pedals.
A strong, stable internet connection at your address is essential for up to 15 players to join the same Fortnite game. Performance relies on that connection, so it cannot be guaranteed.
A longer booking can be divided into timed sessions. Alternatively, ask about multiple buses, subject to availability, safe parking and power. Every bus has the same core equipment. For two equally priced gaming buses, 20% comes off the second bus, saving 10% of the combined party price.
We need one standard plug socket for the gaming equipment. A second socket is only needed if you want air-conditioning or heating on. We bring 50-metre power leads. If mains power is unavailable, generator hire is £55 by arrangement. For online play, our 50-metre Ethernet lead connects to your suitable router, which must provide a strong, stable connection.
The bus needs approximately 7.5 metres of safe, legal parking, about two-and-a-half car lengths, plus safe access. Give us the full address and explain where it would park so we can check the arrangement before confirming.
Indoor gaming usually carries on in normal rain. Outdoor activities can run only when the weather and conditions are suitable; outdoor VR is not used in rain. Keep the indoor capacity of 16 in mind when planning the group.
Complete the enquiry form with the date, full postcode, preferred start time, session length, ages and player numbers. We will check the diary, then confirm the full price and practical setup for your Gaming Van Rayleigh booking.
Choose Your Party Address
Choose the address for your Rayleigh party and we come to you. This is a mobile entertainment service: there is no walk-in Rayleigh gaming venue. Homes, schools, clubs and event sites need suitable parking and access for the bus.
Check Parking, Power and Access in Rayleigh
Before choosing the party time, consider where the vehicle will stand and how players will get on and off safely. Around 7.5 metres of safe, legal parking is needed, with suitable access for the bus.
For town-centre locations, residential streets and school or club grounds, send the full address and explain the parking position. If home parking is unsuitable, you can propose an alternative venue for us to check.
Electricity needs to be close enough for our 50-metre power leads. We also carry a 50-metre Ethernet lead for connection to your suitable router; online games require strong, stable internet. If mains power is unavailable, discuss generator hire before booking.
Choose Games the Group Will Enjoy
Ask the group what they enjoy before picking the party games. Football fans may want short matches, racers can challenge each other, and friends who usually play online may prefer a shared Fortnite session.
There is room for a mixture rather than one game all afternoon. Options include:
- Minecraft gaming parties
- Fortnite gaming parties
- FC / FIFA football gaming parties
- Roblox gaming parties
- Mario Kart and racing parties
- Super Smash Bros
- Rocket League
- Two head-to-head racing simulators
- VR experiences
- Multiplayer party games
- Just Dance and interactive outdoor activities
Tell us the ages, favourite games and any essential choice when you enquire. The host can then plan an appropriate selection. School groups and younger players need games suited to their ages, and availability can depend on age ratings, updates, licences and internet access.
Enquire about Gaming Bus Rayleigh for a suitable address in:
- Rayleigh town centre
- Rayleigh residential areas
- School and club sites around Rayleigh with suitable access
For an address nearby, the full postcode is the best starting point. Coverage, the available session and any travel charge are checked before the booking is agreed.
