We booked the gaming bus for a birthday party and had a fantastic experience. We are a SEN family and some of our guests are autistic so it was important to accommodate the children’s needs. I specially want to thank Harry who came to set up the bus. He was very understanding and helpful with supporting all the children. They all loved it and it was a huge success.

Our host, Saleem, was amazing from start to finish. He was friendly, informative and absolutely brilliant with all the boys!! He helped them throughout the session, joined in with the games and made sure everyone was included and having fun.
The boys had an incredible time and I’m sure they’ll remember this experience forever! As an extra surprise, my son Freddie was given a sweet cone at the end, which I wasn’t even expecting and it was such a lovely finishing touch to a brilliant experience.

We hired the Essex Gaming Bus for my son’s 9th birthday and everyone had an absolute blast! The bus itself was really clean, super techy and accommodated 14 boys really comfortably. The range of games was amazing and our host Sarah was absolutely brilliant from getting the set up done to ensuring all the children (and adults) were happy and knew what they were doing. Absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to use these guys again and thanks to Sarah for being amazing.

I had a party for my boys yesterday I will definitely be recommending them too everyone. Very professional Zoe was amazing with all the children. Good communication and easy instructions to follow to book and pay. All questions prior to booking were answered with ease. We booked for our sons 10th birthday based in Barking and we had no issues getting to us! We had sabrina as a host for the evening and she was great with the kids! Kids thoroughly enjoyed as well as the adults! Would definitely book again for second Son’s birthday next year!
As a parent, I feel I should warn others. What was meant to be a child’s 10th birthday party turned into hours of chaos. On arrival, the driver locked the keys inside the bus and spent the next three hours attempting to force it open. During the booked party time there was loud drilling, windows being smashed, and an ongoing blaring alarm outside our home while kids and parents were present.
Communication was poor, leaving us in prolonged uncertainty until we were forced to cancel and send 18 children home early. The next morning we found broken glass left across our driveway and entrance, which we had to clear ourselves, raising obvious safety concerns.
Although a refund was eventually issued, the company was dismissive of our complaint and refused to accept any responsibility beyond this, instead offering a “goodwill” discount on a future booking that would require us to spend more money with them. This is something we would not consider after this experience.
Given how unprofessionally this was handled from start to finish, I find it very difficult to reconcile our experience with the volume of glowing reviews on this page. Parents should read those reviews with caution and carefully consider the risk before booking.

Great communication from start to finish. friendly host who may I say had the patience of a saint with 15 excited 7 year olds! If you are looking for a way to keep a bunch of small children quiet for 2 hours then locking them in the best bus ever is the way to go! Thank you again xx
This was our second time using Essex Gaming Bus. Booking with them is simple! We booked the gaming bus for our son’s 8th birthday party and all the children had an amazing time!! They were entertained for the 2 hours and didn’t want to get off…Joe, the host, was fantastic! He was brilliant with the kids and made an effort to get involved with them all! Would 100% recommend! I hired the gaming bus for my son’s 10th birthday, and it was an absolute HIT! The host, Danny, was AMAZING! He arrived early, was super friendly, and got along fabulously with the kids. The choice of consoles and games was PERFECT! The kids LOVED the VR experience. My son and his 9 friends had an incredible time, and I couldn’t be happier. Danny’s professionalism and enthusiasm made the party super enjoyable for everyone. I would DEFINITELY recommend the gaming bus party to anyone looking for a unique and awesome birthday experience! 10/10 would do it again.
